The new contracts for NHS dentists which our very own government introduced* turn out to be a fraudsters' charter.
* Or indeed imposed, depending on your point of view. I know of nothing that suggests NHS dentists were actually lobbying for such changes, above and beyond the usual "Can we have some more money, please?"

Hmmm.. I went to the dentists last week, I'm supposed to be an NHS patient, but it still cost me £80 for a check-up and a partial clean, I've got to go back next month and pay another £60 for the rest of the clean (which is classed as private treatment).
She's basically told me that she's not doing much NHS work because the NHS won't meet the costs.
Fortunately I have insurance and can claim it back, but I'd imagine their are plenty of "NHS" patients who aren't so lucky.
That's possibly even more cretinous than my experience of this.
I almost completely ignore the extortion funded sector now.
Life's much easier as a customer than as a cost.
